Camera Won T Take Photo When Shutter Button Is Pushed Canon Eos Rebel Xs

All other features of the camera seem to be operating just fine. Shutter release button doesn’t appear damaged, but will not respond to being pushed to take a photo. I was able to take ONE photo when applying DEEP pressure to the button, but don’t want to cause further damage. Help!!

There are several reasons that make shutter button doesn’t work. first of them .. You need to check if your lens is selected to AF not MF. and other reasons I am still looking for them. I saw your question I hope this answer can be helpful for you or anybody else.
