When try to record any video or take any still pics the popup tells me no sd card ive tried to change cards re bind everything but no change

I had a similar problem with one of my SD cards but I resolved it by reformatting the card within the DJI Vision app. FYI, I had tried reformatting in several computers with no luck but this was fixed the first time using the Vision app. Power on the Phantom, WiFi repeater and controller as you would when going for a flight. Once you have the Vision app open on your phone and are connected to the Phantom select the Camera option in the main menu. Once you have the view from your camera in the app click on the setting button in the lower right side. Once the camera options are visible on the left side of the screen scroll to the bottom of the options and you should see an image of an SD card. By selecting the SD card image/icon it should prompt you to reformat and then follow on-screen prompts. **If you don’t see the image for the SD card to select and reformat then you will have to go back to the main screen of the Vision app where you have the options of: Camera, Album, News and Settings. Select Settings, then select Camera Settings Display (under the Camera subsection) and finally use the slider to enable Format (of your SD card). Then back out to the main menu and follow the original instructions above to see the option to reformat your card.

From my understanding, the camera can’t read some SD Cards (The manual isn’t specific on which ones work and the ones that don’t, but it’s specific that the camera can support cards up to 32GB.). Also, the big problem is a MAJOR bug with the Vision app. DJI hasn’t released an update with a fix for it. The bug with the app is this: You know when you download apps like Instagram that ask for access to your phone’s photos? The Vision app is supposed to do that, but the bug makes it not ask for camera access for some reason. I hope this helped solve the problem.

so many thanks for such as super prompt response. so what do i do now? you’re right about the manual, it just says “It is recommended using a UHS-1 or Class 10 Micro SD card to minimize the delay when reading or writing high resolution image files.” i am using a 32GB i got from Maplin, which i when i view on my laptop is ok, it does show a sample picture i copied on it. so what now you reckon?
