I ordered a replacement lens cover but my question is how do I clean the camera eye before reinstalling the lens? Is there a safe solution like rubbing alcohol and a cutip? I can see spots on the camera screen so I know the eye itself needs to be cleaned before the repair. Thanks!
Don’t use a Q-tip, they leave fibers. Paper products are more abrasive than you might think. Use a microfiber cloth or lens cleaning cloth and a small amount of isopropyl alcohol.
