When I try to make a call, it shows that it is dialing, but then a “Failed” message comes up. This is a new problem. I am also wondering why the phone screen says “Emergency” at the top left corner. Your suggestions would be very much appreciated.

from the sound of it you are just in an area with really bad reception. try moving to a different location where you have full bars and it says that you have full data connectivity also. sometimes my phone will have bars but if it does not show data connectivity then it will not allow me to make any calls except “emergency only” hopefully this helps you out and you are dialing away soon

Try to take out the SIM card, clean it then re-insert it. Sounds like it isnt recognising it.

Well, I’ve done everything I read to set up my Blu Tank II, bought prepaid service from H2O & still getting “no service”. Anyone have some insight on what I’m doing wrong? I called H2O for support, the guy couldn’t help me after 15+ mins, said someone would call me back in 10-15 mins, never received that call back. This is getting so frustrating.
