Hi you probably need a new charging port because the bottom mic is located there. It can also be the mesh on the bottom from debris or liquid that is blocking the mic from working I recommend taking it to a pro if your unsure of how to take it apart. The unit can be disassembled the mesh can be soaked in alcohol to remove any debris blocking. Any liquid can damage the microphone easily. Hope this helps.
