Hi, I disassembled my dryer to clean it first time in three years and found out that one of cables is not connected and just lies there. Question is if someone know what for that cable is and what will happen if I will connect it…
Update (09/22/2021) Actually I found some scheme and it looks like that it is an actuator of drain set which was not connected at factory. Drain to drainage via hose was not working and now it works…..
if your dryer works like it used to and it was like that when you opened it i would just leave it. you could take a multimeter and see if it has power going to the plug and maybe determine what its for.
