I dropped my phone recently, and when i dropped it the display came cable disconnected (as shown in the pictures below) but the problem is in the tutorial the battery is supposed to be displaying whereas for me the metal plate above the battery is displaying?

  1. How do i connect the display cable to the iphone
  2. How do i remove the metal plate (as shown in the 2nd picture)

(the front of the phone cover is the first image)

That is the bottom of the screen. You need to unscrew the two screws on each side of the charging port. You need a screwdriver called a pentalobe screwdriver and it should come in the screen package. Slowly open the screen from the bottom and unhook the home button. DON’T OPEN IT QUICKLY OR YOU WILL TEAR THE CABLE. Once it’s unhooked unscrew the battery cover and disconnect the battery. Then unscrew the screen connection cover and disconnect the screen. You will need to change the earpiece speaker and front camera and home button

After inquiring further, the LCD cable and Digitzer cable have been ripped and will need a replacement. Thank You Allen Barr, i will order one unless you have a input, (ask for images)
