My TV is one purchased in Europe so the model number might be slightly different. It is a UE55MU6202K. recently there has been a buzzing noise when the tv is on coming from somewhere near the power cable being plugged in. it does seem to get more pronounced when sound is loud on whatever we are watching. I have removed the back,

and I can see/hear where it comes from it seems to be from these components.

This is what it sounds like when powered on.

any advice for fixing it myself?? should I get someone in to fix it or would that likely cost more than buying a new one at this point? other than this it’s a perfect tv and we are still very happy with it!

@leeddc the component on the right is your rectifier and the left appear to be power either voltage regulators or MOSFET’s. This could be a over current situation as well as issues with the heatsink etc. Can you determine which exact and where it comes from. If it is being transmitted through the heatsink it is possible that there will be trouble in teh future and you could apply some thermal paste between the components and the heatsink etc. LEt us know what you find out. Take some good pictures of the components that might allow us to identify them. There maybe markings on the front of those.
