Hi, My built-in trackpad is not working after battery replacement for my MacBook Pro 2015. My keyboard is working though, so does that mean my cables are ok? I was very sure the acetone didn’t touch the trackpad board at all. Could the acetone have gotten into the trackpad cover plate???? What is happening? Do I need to replace my trackpad now? Thanks, Gary

Somehow your trackpad has failed. The trackpad is the terminus for your keyboard connection and then the trackpad cable carries the singles for both onward to the logic board. So the fact the keyboard is working is tell me your trackpad died.
