I have my Nintendo 3DS with a broken home button connector (the weird zif looking one that isn’t exactly a zif connector). It’s completely done for, no way to fix it. Where can I get a new one of these and how can I replace it on my board?
Hi! Those are called flex cables. They are pretty cheap on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Home-Button-Fle… To replace yours, follow the teardown guide ( Nintendo 3DS XL 2015 Teardown ) until you are able to access the cable.
