Hello, I have problem with butterfly keyboard. My spacebar just broke and I don’t know how can i fix that. I brought my laptop to Apple service (I bought it in 2017), and they said, that I need to pay them 1900PLN (445USD) to fix that. What can I do?
Hi Butterfly keyboards are quite fiddly to work on but have you tried Blowing compressed air under the key If this isn’t working your best bet is to have a repair shop do it, or if your quite good with small delicate parts you can try and replace the key and clean the switch yourself but this isn’t recommended Hopefully this answers your question Thanks:)
