Broken Lcd Screen On My E520 Camera Is It Worth Trying To Repair Olympus Camera

I accidently set my Olympus Evolt E520 camera down on the LCD screen against a hard surface and cracked the screen . When I turn on the camera, only a bright light appears in the LCD screen area. The menu is not visible, no picture shows up after pressing the shutter release. The question I have, is this fixable and is it cost effective to do so. I have also been having some focus problems before this accident.
