Hi IFixit, Do I need to remove the whole logicboard to access the components necessary to replace the LCD on a mid-2017 MacBook Pro Touch? Or will I be able to do the replacement simply attaching a few cables and screws to the bottom exposed logicboard if I buy an LCD assembly for the machine? Thank you. Sincerely, A tech repair person
The display can be removed from the chassis from the bottom. I’ve marked the cables in blue and the hinges pink
