Hi There . I broke the small cable for the keyboard backlight while replacing the Ram. The back light obviously doesnt work anymore, which is fine for me. I was wondering if it will cause other complications?
It won’t. But make sure you remove the cable’s broken part from the logic board connector to prevent any damage to the LB in the future as well as the other part of the ribbon cable must not touch the logic board. And adjust the KB backlight to zero when OS X loaded.
