Hello, my girlfriends screen would turn on but be unresponsive (randomly worked for a bit so thought it could be phone and not the screen) so to see if it was the screen or phone i swapped her screen with mine and i didnt think to swap the home buttons over, i swapped them back and now my home button worked for a bit but now wont work at all, touch ID or not? any possible solutions would be appreciated thanks
Try a hard reset. Press and hold the power and home buttons together and keep holding them, the screen will go black. Keep holding until you see the apple logo then let go of the buttons. Once it’s started up try the home button.
If the button doesn’t work, you’ve torn the cables.
