Mike Asseraf, “LCD and glass are fused together” from here . This usually means that it is almost impossible to replace one without the other. Check on here for a replacement. Still costly but the only ones I found thus far.
I’m not sure that you will find in the internet anything. Because the surface is new the only way to find spare parts as the glass you should take your surface where you bought it.

I could never understand the hardships you and/or others must be facing now - physically, emotionally, locally amd abroad. What I can tell you is that the media does not reflect the majority of Americans. WE STAND WITH ISRAEL ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my! It’s my problem too. If the glass screen is cracked & it is still functioning well, is it possible that the LCD may be affected too? I’m in the Philippines & the gadget is from Australia.. What should I do?? :(

So I have somewhat the same problem. By boyfriend stepped on my tablet cracked the screen but the screen is not functioning :( if I purchase the replacement for the screen and lcd would it fix my problem? Would it work 100% properly? Please answer ASAP I was going to purchase this today.
