I have an Insignia NS-DVD1 player. The belt that drives the tray open/close operation is broken. Can I get a replacement belt?

Hi @abarthalfa , Two possible options.

  1. Check if the DVD drive unit itself has a manufacturer’s name on it, other then Insignia and search online, using the drive manufacturer’s name for parts for it.
  2. Have you still got the old belt? If so, here is a link to a supplier of belts who may be able to help. Follow the directions on how to measure the belt and then contact them regarding a possible replacement.
