I dropped my iPad Air 2 and the screen cracked and scratched. The touch still works and all parts of my screen are visible and work. I am sure that only the digitizer is broken and not the LCD. I was wondering if all iPad Airs 1 and 2 have the same digitizer and if they are compatible. Please help me!
IPad Air 2 is completely different to any other ipad as its lcd and digitzer are fused together and Is one peice.. Making this repair a little more expensive
No the air 2 is an lcd and digitizer fused together, like the iPhone’s. Part will run you about $250.
How much does it cost to repair my screen on my iPad Air 2
Has anyone attempted to separate the digitizer and glad yet?… Just curious because they are selling the digitizer alone on eBay.
