Chosen Solution
I accidentally broke the tiny connector that holds the trackpad/keyboard ribbon in the bottom. Now my MacBook won’t powerup. I was trying to replace the trackpad ribbon. can you please advise what that part is called? and how I can fix/replace it? Your help will be greatly appreciated. not sure if the image is visible. i am new to ifixit. here is an example: https://d3nevzfk7ii3be.cloudfront.net/ig… The cable slides in and there is a small black connector that clamps down..
can you post a picture of the connector in question?
