anyone know where I can get a arial module for an ‘Aldi’ Bauhn TV. My robot vacume broke off the RF input plug
Hi @krebsie65, Repairing a coax input in a TV is not an easy task. The input connector is usually fixed directly into the sealed tuner module which is hard mounted on the mainboard in the TV. Here’s a video that shows what may be involved. Search on places such as mouser.com or digikey.com for a suitable type of RF connector e.g. PAL type or F type depending on what is installed. The alternative is to source a replacement mainboard. 2nd alternative is to connect the TV aerial to a set top box or PVR etc and then connect that to one of the TV’s other input types e.g. Component video or HDMI, tune it for all the TV channels and select the TV channels using the remote for that device.
