Hi guys, as the title says I attempted to fix the screen of my fathers iPhone 6s. (I only ever changed the screen of my iPhone 5s before). However, I stupidly didnt plug off the battery connector, so I guess that I broke the logic board. My question now is wether there is a way to diagnose wich components on the logic board are broken or if there is no other way than replacing the whole thing. edit: here are some pics of the FPC connector

@moodlehump sounds like you have a blown FL4211 (240ohm 350mA 0201 package) backlight filter. Check this video on how to check the filter and what to look for. Update (07/08/2017) @moodlehump post a couple of good images of your connector. Let’s see if you bend the contacts and caused a short. Use this guide for that
