One of the areas on the left is dented, I was wondering if and how I can get it fixed. I can’t take any photos right now, but these two from Google are exactly what mine looks like, exact spot too;
Should I buy a new top case? Where are the best sites/stores to buy from?
We use a small block of ebony wood and a jewelers hammer to take out this particular damage. Works very well.
A new upper case would do the trick. However, a new upper case will cost you $118 (without tax and shipping costs). I am unsure of how to safely remove that warp without damaging the case further.
