hello! Here because I have a broken lens cover. I purchased this kit (iPhone 12 mini Rear Camera Lenses and Bezels) thinking it was what I needed to replace the glass on the camera of my 12 mini. As it turns out, I should have purchased this (iPhone 12/12 mini Rear Camera Lens Covers) instead. I do not intend to open the phone and was hoping for a relatively painless repair. It appears as though the kit I bought has both the covers and the bezels. I didn’t want to take the pieces apart to find out, but does anyone know if the pieces in the kit will separate and allow me to use just the lens covers? Thanks!
you can probably separate the lens from the kit you bought. however its easy to break it while doing so.“I do not intend to open the phone and was hoping for a relatively painless repair” it should be painless, but depending on how broken the lens is you might want to open the phone and take out the camera during the procedure. so as to not get glass dust on the actual lens and in the camera.Good luck!
