I placed ice on the table after taking it out of my drink and out of laziness left it there for a few minutes as I went down stairs, when I came back my laptop was switched off so I turned it back on, hearing the startup sound only and seeing a weird white screen. I was confused as only the bottom was wet and it was only slightly, however there are like black feet on the bottom of my laptop that help keep my laptop from sliding off surfaces easily and due to previous damage they had come off leaving a small hole which I think leads to the inside, however the table surface was just wet and barely enough to reach any ports. I left it upside down for 5 hours, then checked, there was sound and the light that indicated my laptop was on but nothing came on the laptop. I put it into rice and after 17 hours (24 in total) I tried turning it on, the same problem except the screen turned white after a while. I searched to see how to check if the motherboard is damaged and it said check the charger and if the light doesn’t turn on its gone, which I did and it turned on. What can I do? I really cant afford a repair or a new one.

Sadly the lack of the foot allows egress for stuff to get in. At this point you will need to open up the system to see if there is anything visible that you can fix. But, this maybe beyond your skills, while I understand your lack of funds you likely need to find your way to someone with the skills to fix your system. In any case I would stop using the system and disconnect the battery internally so you reduce the corrosion damage until you get your system serviced.
