my phones bottom mic is working.. i changed the flex assy too i cleaned the holes throughly but still when i make calls the other person can hardly hear my voice. (sounds like im speaking from very far) but then again if i put the phone on loud speaker and talk directly on the mic . its works fine. can anyone please help me out on this!! thank a lottt
You need to replace the lighting port/charging port. It has the headphone Jack and Microphone in it. The part is about 5 dollars and it’s not that hard to do. Watch the repair video on ifixit. Update (05/25/2020) It has 4 Microphones on an iPhone 6. It has 2 on the bottom on the left and right side. It has one on the back of the phone by the rear camera and one in the earpiece speaker. You already charged the bottom 2 and if you change the earpiece speaker assembly that should take care of number 3. The rear one by the rear camera is part of the power button/flash cable assembly. You can buy both of those parts for around 10 to 20 dollars.
