TB2 ports have damage and hardly work (Mid 2015 MBP) How do I get an I?O board? Is that what I need?

Ouch! The Thunderbolt ports are located on the main logic board. So you’ll need to either try to find someone with the needed skills and parts to repair them or what I think is the quicker way is just replace the logic board.
