Money is tight and I’m really trying to avoid a repairman. My dishwasher suddenly started making a humming noise and is getting no water input. I took off the foot plate and got all of the water out of the bottom hoping maybe the float was stuck and no change. I don’t know exactly where the float is on this model so I havent looked at it but there are no big food particles or anything that I can see. Any help at all would be very very appreciated. Thank you so much.
Hi @gregslobo , Check if the water inlet valve, part #19 base diagram is OK. If it is faulty it will need it be replaced as it cannot be repaired. The supplier linked above is only to show you where it is located and what it looks like. There are other suppliers online that may suit you better. Just search for Bosch 00425458 to get results. I realize that you said money is tight but it still may be worthwhile to invest in the service manual. This will help you as it will show how to get into the diagnostic mode to test all the functions, has schematics etc. Saves a lot of time and guesswork.
