Chosen Solution
I have a ps4 slim here that correctly boots into safemode and once exiting, the PS logo shows like normal, fades like normal. But when it gets to the point where another screen should show after bootup, the screen is just black. This is a customers ps4 so tv, hdmi cord, resolution, etc has been changed. Its a couple of kids ps4 so I’d like to avoid having to delete their save games if possible, looking for possible solutions — thank you.
Try installing a new harddrive or test it. PS4 boots to logo and than accesses the harddrive.
