My Iphone6 is now in crazy state. It’s like Schrödinger cat. After unfortunate accident it did bend a little, so I did have to change few parts, like: Back plate, battery, volume up-down metal plate, whole screen. Logic board was fine. Now It really like to reset at random, after a day or two, or after 10 seconds of usage. I tried hard reset, soft one, 2x new battery, calibrate battery, restore to original factory setting, upgrading software etc. When boot looping it’s getting hot, and after a short while of working and doing some minor tasks. What did I notice. Well, if the phone is on cable to power source (PC, charger) It’s working better, sometimes doesn’t bootloop at all. When battery is in rage of 50%/55%-100% It doesn’t looping that much, but still that’s big problem. Hard reset sometimes help for while. Do you guys have any ideas what should I do ? Did I could misplace some small screw in assemble and cause problem ? Is this hardware or software problem ? I’ve got some of logs from: JetsamEvent Periodic-microstackshot-report ResetCounter Stack and few ForceReset
Have you tried another good lcd assembly? Your aftermarket one could be pulling more voltage than the original causing issues. Or it could have exposed metal causing a short. I would try another good known screen to rule that out. Also if you still have the original broken one I would hold it side by side to the replacement and make sure everything looks the same. Also are you 100% certain you put all 4 screws up top in their correct place? If you, for example, accidentally put a longer screw somewhere it’s not intended to go you could cause damage to traces underneath.
