Chosen Solution

Hello everyone. I have a Dell Inspirion 7000 series - 7737 Laptop in my repair shop. The clients could not get the laptop to boot. ( that was due to damaged o.s. install ). I am able to boot the laptop 50% of the time running windows 10 pro. the other 50% it freezes. Also once the system is booted it runs at about 90 - 100 % disk full. Does anyone have some solutions to this problem other than stoping the search, anti virus, running check disc etc. I am not thinking this is a software issue but i could be wrong. Any Advice would be great. PS seems to be a big issues with these modeles. Also this was origonal installed with 8.1 pro

If you have a Hirens Ultimate Boot CD 10.4 available, run the HDD Regenerator as well as a HDD Stress Test and Memory test, it does sound like a faulty HDD but I may be wrong. Remember to change the boot device to legacy in the BIOS to access Hirens 10.4. Hope this helps

You should run the built in diagnostics and do thorough test of memory and disk. If the freezing happens that often then the Dell tests should catch the problem if it is memory or disk. If the hardware tests good then try running Windows in safe mode, you will have to start Windows and select reboot into safe mode to make it happen. If Windows is stable in safe mode then check the drivers to make sure they are up to date and for Windows 10.

I have same problem. I use ssd to runing system. I updated bios when I on windows 10. I Replacemet old hard drive. It can run normally now
