My boost max plus just recently started charging veeeeeery slowly… I recently had to buy a new charger after losing the original…. I can plug it up at 20% and a hour later it’s only at maybe 35% if I’m lucky…. Vs plugging it up and getting a full charge in a hour and a half… If it’s dead it takes hours for it to fully charge Could the new charger be the issue.???? Someone told me it may not be strong enough…. I’d hate to go but another one and waste money…i know nothing about this type of stuff lol
This could very well be due to the new charger you purchased. It likely has a different amp rating resulting in a slower charge. In time using the incorrect charger could also have a negative impact on the batteries overall lifespan. I would suggest to try a different charger with a higher amp rating. You can usually find the output rating on the chargers if you need to compare the amps.
