Chosen Solution

I have a problem with Bluetooth. The hardware is no longer available in the system information. It says “no information found”. Wifi works fine. I brought the Mac (A1502) to Apple. They did not bother to open it. They ran a test tried to reinstall the OS and then told me that they did not know if a repair was possible so they gave me two rather strange options: 1. Wait for a software update so the Bluetooth might be magically reappearing or 2. Buy a new logic board. They did not bother resetting the SMC or NVRAM or trashing the bluetooth.plist(s). Anyone has a solution, the good old times of buying a new Broadcomm Wifi/Bluetooth card are gone and I hate using a dongle. The MacBook Pro is model A1989.

You’ll need to inspect the BT/WiFi chip and the antenna connections.
