Chosen Solution
I had this issue where my bluetooth would sometimes just disconnect, so I figured the solution might be to replace the airport card. I did this and it worked fine for a little bit, but now the problem is back. There’s some software fixes I tried, like deleting the Bluetooth.plist files and resetting the NVRAM, basically anything I could find on Apple’s forums and on here. Is there anything else I should look into fixing?
Messing with the software won’t fix this! Hopefully you can undo the alterations. To fix this properly you’ll need to replace the MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Late 2012-Early 2013) I/O Board Data Cable you may still need a new I/O board if it is corroded from a liquid spill.
