Hi I have a generic Bluetooth keyboard that I have been using for my iMac. Right now I tried to login to my iMac and it was not taking my keyboard input. It is not searching for a Bluetooth keyboard either. However the generic Bluetooth mouse is working fine. I am not able to login to the iMac with just the mouse. I don’t have a switch account option either. Please help!

First, try a wired keyboard to log in. After logging in, try and connect your Bluetooth keyboard. If you can connect your Bluetooth keyboard, completely log out and try logging back in with your Bluetooth keyboard. This strategy works for me when it comes to Bluetooth keyboard issues with my iMac Pro. Hopefully it works for you. :-)
