Chosen Solution
I replaced the battery in my Razer Blade Stealth 13” (2017). The laptop indicated that the battery was installed and charged to 100%. But the laptop would crash and blue screen after a few minutes of using it, which it does not do with the battery not installed and has never done previously. Is this a hardware malfunction, or a bad installation job?
It very well could be a defective battery. What I would do is this, if you have the old battery try re-installing it temporarily and see if that resolves the issue. If it does, then definitely a bad battery. If it doesn’t then it must be something else. What is the error you get when the laptop crashes?
