I bought a cheap Wii u gamepad for parts to try and fix it. The blue power light fades away once you hit the power button and when it’s plugged into a charger, the charge light comes on and stays on when you unplug it. I replaced the battery and nothing changed. What causes this issue
It’s possible there is a motherboard inside the game pad similar to the PSP. It will control the lights on the side of the pad.
