I cleaned my screen with mirror cleaner, after few minuts its suddenly goes black. I restarts the computer and its okay, but after login its blinks a few times and goes black. Afterwards i can restart it (I hear the startup sound and fan is spinning) but just black screen. After 30 min it can startup again until login, then its the same again, blinking and goes black. There are no backlight. On external screen it register the screen but its just total darkness. Any idea what causes the problem?
The displays connections to the logic board are at the bottom, what often happens is some of the cleaner drips down wetting the connectors connection. At this point I would recommend finding a local Mac repair shop who have the skills to get to the connector as it’s not easy! For reference review this MacBook Pro Retina Display Teardown while hard to see look at Step 8 middle image on the left of the board being held is the connector with a piece of tape over part of it. You really don’t want the connector to stay wet as it will corrode up.
Screen flickering in Windows is usually caused by display drivers. To update your display driver, you’ll need to start your PC in safe mode, uninstall your current display adapter, and then check for driver updates. Regards, Will
