Samsung plasma HP R4252, bad image and blinking green LED 2011 on the main logic board. Should I replace the board or just some parts on the board ?
benisimon …. from the service manual, it looks like its a main board/ tcon combo board. middle board, fed by power supply above and connects via ribbon cable directly to the display panels buffer boards. Please confirm/ upload picture of what you see for wiring in the back of the set. if this is the case, replacing the mainboard will resolve your issue. if this is not how your set is wired, please upload a pic of such. if you want to troubleshoot the board, youll require a multimeter and the ability to use it. let us know what your tools/capabilities are and we can guide you through some troubleshooting on your main board.
