Hi @m0kdi. Have you tried a power refresh in case it is corrupted data preventing a normal start? Disconnect the power from the TV and then press and hold the TV Power On button for a full 60 seconds and then release it. Reconnect the power to the TV and then try turning it on. A firmware update will not help if you can’t turn the TV on. It needs to be turned on to read the inserted USB flashdrive which has the firmware on it. If the standby light was changing colour or indicating that the TV was turning on but then nothing else happened you may have a chance with a firmware update. I don’t know about Blaupunkt but with some other brands the USB port is checked very early in the start up procedure to see if there is a firmware file there. If not it proceeds with the normal startup. If there is and the file has the correct filename information it will start the firmware update procedure instead. With other brands though, you need to go through the TV menus to update it via USB or OTA so obviously this won’t work if it doesn’t fully turn on. If the Standby light is changing then you could try contacting this company and see if they have the firmware at all. Just verifying that it doesn’t turn on when using either the TV Power On button or the remote control, is this correct? With most TVs a standby voltage signal is sent from the power board to the mainboard, to indicate that there is power available. It is the mainboard that turns on the Standby power light. When the mainboard receives the turn on signal, either from the remote control or the TV power button, it commences the start procedure by turning on the power board to now supply the full voltage necessary for the TV to function. Since you have a standby light but the TV doesn’t turn on it may be a problem with the mainboard
