I get only the vizio logo briefly when TV turns on, did flashlight test saw nothing, do have white lights in back with panel off, with me looking at the back of the TV I have a green board on the right side with a metal plate/cover with holes in it. On the left side I have kinda beige board and this is where the power cord plugs into. So I do not know what board is t-con? What board is mother? The green board is the one that has where hdmi, USB, coaxial, etc plugs into. Help me test these boards please, I have a multi meter.

@okpirategirl by your description your TV has two boards. This “The green board is the one that has where hdmi, USB, coaxial, etc plugs into. “ is the main board (it may have the T-con board on it as well. It is becoming more common to integrate the T-con board to the main board.) We would need to see some pictures of your boards. Post those with your question. Adding images to an existing question The other board “where the power cord plugs into “ is your power board. The “do have white lights in back with panel off “ means that your backlight is on. So your issues are most likely the main board or T-con board if it is separate. Post some images so we can see and also let us know what model your TV is.

T con is usually a small board at the top of the tv (most likely hidden) that carries two ribbon cables at top of it and one cable at bottom. If you can see tv menu (settings menu) then may not be tcon. Diagnosing these problems are sometimes difficult. I have seen lcd tvs do that and when tilted forward they come on.. or when heated in a particular spot they can turn on. could be the board that accepts the HDMI if you do see the menu when pressed. Just my 2 cents may not help much but thought i would try.
