Just yesterday, the screen suddenly went blank. Connected to external monitor, evrything seems normal. Today morning, when I put it on, screen was magically working again. Then after 2-3 minutes it went blank again. The logic board on this macbook was replaced two weeks ago (due to some liquid spill). Is it possible that some cable is loose inside? Even though, It’s less than a year old, I can’t take it apple because the liquid spill voided the warranty. Please suggest what to do. Thanks…
The problem resolved itself without doing anything.
I have the same problem after replacing a damaged retina display on my 13" MacBook Pro. I have followed other troubleshooting recommendations and gotten nowhere. My external monitor is the only way I can use my computer.
Hey, I’ve a question. Does A1502 MBP work without its own display ? I would like to remove my non-properly working screen completely and use the MBP with an external monitor. I’m asking this question under this thread because I think blank screen here should mean no screen and therefore it should work with an external monitor after I remove the OEM screen. Not sure though
