Hi everybody After I boot up my zenbook(UX32LN), nothing show on screen. However, the power light, the caps lock light, and the fans was running without problem. I tried to connect to external monitor via HDMI port but nothing out. Anything I can test more? I just guess that there are problems with graphic card or monitor… Any suggestion is appreciated….
Hi, Have you tried the torch trick to see if there is a display on the screen? Shine a torch at an angle close to the screen and see if you can detect the “desktop” (once you think that it has fully booted into Windows). If you can it may be that there is a backlight problem. I know you said that there was no external display either but this is just in case you have 2 separate problems. It only takes a bit of time and at least you have eliminated it if it still fails. If you see a display using a torch, can you try to get into BIOS on startup? This is just to see if there is a display or not or if you need to use the torch as well. If you can’t see a display at all when using a torch and there is no external display either, then there most probably is a problem with the GPU or the motherboard
