My macbookpro is 2 years old and today it asked me to restart twice and then the screen went black and there were words on it that i cant understand. i turned it off and when i tried to turn it on again, it made beeping sounds (3 beeps then stop then 3 beeps again) then 1 beep. could it be the RAM?
The three beeps indicate a RAM failure. I would reseat the RAM one stick at a time in each of the slots to test both the RAM and the slots. If you’ll give us the last three figures of your serial number we can direct you to the correct guide to do this.
