Hello, Suddenly my macbook pro not working as expected. Connecting power cord auto starts the macbook but with black screen, fan running, battery being charged, no light in keyboard, backside apple logo light works. charging phone using usb cable working. Tried smc reset and its working but pram reset not working as i am not able to see any restart or chime during pram reset. Tried external display but it seems not connected to display. Any help appreciated.
Did you get your system wet at some point (liquid spill)? If you didn’t get your system wet and you can’t get an external monitor to work I would guess the GPU has died. If you did get your system wet then you maybe facing a corrosion issue which might be repairable, The best thing here is to pull the logic board out to do a good inspection.
