Chosen Solution
Every time i turn on my 3DS, the top and bottom screen light up black and thats it. all the lights turn on aka the blue light, yellow wifi light, charging light, ect. all that works but the 3DS will not boot.. its like its stuck in sleep mode. it does have a crach in the top screen but i was able to play it before with the crack, then one day playing rollercoaster tycoon in the 3DS, i closed it and when i opened the 3DS, i got the black screens. I have tryed all the fixes i could find online..none worked. i even took the wifi card out and put it back in..nothing help?
The top left corner of the device. Take the left shoulder button out and carefully prod around near the orange ribbon cables. If there is a noticeable tear in one of them before doing this, you may need the ribbon cables replaced.
