Hello. This is my problem. I can turn on my dad’s notebook only if i open DVD-ROM immediately after pushing power button with black screen then normaly power button and WAN light normaly. If i dont open DVD-ROM or remove DVD-ROM notebok will rebook in 1 sec in loop after DVD-ROM starts rotate. When he is turned on caps lock blinks 1 per 3 sec, after few minute blinks power button and WAN 1 per 5sec. I tried hard reset and switch RAM. Can anybody help me please?
I have a feeling that the DVD-ROM drive thinks there is a disc in it. I would suggest replacing the drive to see if your problem is resolved.
