I have been using this phone for about 5 months. It was has a broken micro USB port when my friend gave it to me. The usb connection works when I bend it very hard (with almost 30 degree angle). It seemed very unhealthy for my device. And I bought a charge cable for dock port. Before one week, I decided to sell this phone and get a new phone. While waiting for my charging port shipment, I removed the old broken one. Put the motherboard back, connect battery, close the case and done. I turned on phone and it’s worked fine. I put my SD and Sim in. It said “Shutting down”. I think it was for Sim card. And gone. When I press the power button nothing happens. When I hold the power button, device vibrates, backlight of the screen lights for half seconds and device turning off again. Sony logo, any led light, any sound, nothing shows up. When I hold power + volume down, it vibrates, Sony logo shows up for 1-2 seconds, no led, no sound, and turning off again. When I try to charge it with my powerbank (have a charging status indicator on it), it says charging, not charging, charging, not charging. Every 2 seconds, it changes status between “charging” and “not charging”. I thought maybe its about battery, but makes no sense. When I unscrew battery, I put it to an empty and safe place. Any idea?

Ok you gone a long way! First remove the battery carefully with PLASTIC SPUDGER or else u might short the battery terminals with metal one. Now power on the device without battery for at least 1 min to remove any static. Check for any damage created accidentally when removing the old broken port. You held down the volume and power ( It will boot to recovery mode). As the boot loader is locked by default you are sticked in boot loop. When the above mentioned process is completed. Connect the battery and hold on ONLY power button for 1 minute. It will exit recovery.
