Recently my apple MacBook Pro’s display stopped working. there is no display just a black screen, however when shine light through apple logo I can see my screen and also can see display when plugged into external monitor such as TV. Ive tried PRAM reboot, and all other suggested shortcuts, chimes will play but again no display. I have opened it up and made sure all connections are secure and I think they are… PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
Hook it up to an external display to verify the GPU. This can also be caused by a broken pin on the display data cable. The one on the far left so check it as it can get bent when inserted improperly. This is a backlight issue.
