I have an Early 13” 2015 MacBook Pro. While updating the software is turned off and now if I try to turn it on the backlight of the screen comes on but it stays black. The Apple logo on the lid goes on but I don’t get the chime sound. I’ve tried different button combinations but nothing worked. Nothing is damaged inside everything looks good. What can i do? Replacing logic board isnt worth it because the high price does anyone know another solution?
Unlike the 15” models your system uses the CPU’s graphics engine which appears to be bad. You might be able to find someone who has the skills to try to debug your logic board but from your symptoms my money is on a bad CPU which is not replaceable. I would beg to differ! This is still a sought after system. It has ports and MagSafe! Both are missing on the latest models which cost around 2k.
