Chosen Solution
I was having issues with my iphone 6s plus and went to the apple store they gave me a different phone now the screen on this one radomly goes blank and i have to turn it off and back on it does it periodically throughout the day.
I would return to the Apple Store ASAP. The out of warranty replacements usually come with 90 days at least.
